Crash; Reversible Silk Twill At Silver Lining we collaborate with artists and customers to create classic, luxury outerwear with brilliant custom linings. Why the lining? We believe in the adage, “It’s What’s Inside that Counts” and we wanted to find a way to celebrate and keep this message of inner beauty close.

Founded in 2014, Silver Lining is a double bottom line company that commits 6% of retail profits to arts education programs benefitting underserved students.

We are currently partnered with Root Division, a San Fransisco-based organization that brings free art classes to over 500 students using working artists as teachers.

Our jackets and bags are made in the USA. Each season Silver Lining partners with an artist to create brilliant linings for our capsule collection. This year we’ve collaborated with Bay Area The outcome? True works artist Kelly Ording. Ording has exhibited in galleries in New York, San Francisco and of wearable art. Tokyo and she has created several large format murals throughout the Bay Area, including a mural installation within the Frank Gehry designed Facebook campus expansion.
