Thornridge Falcon football is restoring the pride of the school. The Falcons have been on a 28 game losing streak, but that has all changed this year. The Thornridge Athletic De- partment has a staff of newly acquired coaches, who teaches the team necessary skills. The Thornridge football teams have definitely changed for the better. As a part of the new program, after every school day, Coach Jennings calls a team meeting to talk about goals and accomplishments. Each level freshman, sophomore, and varsity is getting off to a good start thanks to the new coaching staff.

The freshman team, who took on Joliet Central August 30th at home, started off their season the right way. They went on to beat Joliet 40-0 on August 30th; they played a great game Sophomore Falcon Footbal Results: obviously and came out with a win. Late in the 4th quarter, 10/17/14 TR 20 – 13 Andrew Thornridge went for the 2nd point conversion, but failed to 10/23/14 TR 8 – 54 Thornton score. The final score was 18-19 the Falcons lost by a single point to Joliet. It was an exciting game and Thornridge fought Final Record 1-8 hard all the way through.
