Deauthorized Collegiate Specialty License Plates TECHNICAL ADVISORY DIVISION OF MOTORIST SERVICES Technical Advisory DATE: 3/31/2021 RS/TL21-005 SUBJECT: Deauthorized Collegiate Specialty License Plates Overview: During the 2020 Legislative Session, the Legislature authorized a standard license plate template for all Independent Colleges and Universities of Florida (ICUF). The attached list names the ICUF schools that currently have a collegiate license plate. In the next several months, as the ICUF schools migrate to the template license plate design, these currently existing license plates will be deauthorized and no original issuance, replacements, or personalized license plate reservations transactions will be allowed. For these currently existing license plates, the only transactions that will be allowed are renewal transactions. A customer who has the current design will be allowed to renew the registration, and all applicable fees will be due at the time of renewal. Once the new template designs authorized during the 2020 Session are ready to be shipped, we will send a Technical Advisory with a list of all the new license plates and inventory codes. Effective from the date of this Technical Advisory, no orders for any of the currently existing license plates will be processed; any orders submitted will be canceled. Personalized license plate orders, however, will be allowed. Details: Continue to use your existing inventory. If an agency in your county needs the currently existing license plate before the new license plate template designs are available, please contact other agencies in your county and transfer plates as necessary. If no license plates are available at all, please contact the Inventory Control Unit at (850) 617-2900 or [email protected]. Orders will be filled by Central Supply or transferred from county-to-county to deplete the current supply. We will approve and manufacture personalized license plate orders as usual. 1 Conclusion: Thank you for helping us reduce the license plate inventory that will become obsolete. If you need additional information, please contact your next level of management or the Field Support Center. NAGY SOARS AWAY May 6, 2010 by Webmaster Filed under Campus Leave a Comment An Aviation Major is Ready to Take Off By LACY REDWINE Staff Writer Michael Nagy, is a senior majoring in business administration with a specialization in aviation management. He is originally from Cali, Colombia but the transition for this international sensation was not as difficult as one may think. “I was very excited to move to Boca Raton, but I was more excited to start flight training at Lynn,” said Nagy. Nagy knew the moment he got to Boca that he wanted to pursue aviation. “I chose this major because I wanted an aviation related major that would allow me to fly and become a pilot, but at the same time allow me to have a business background,” said Nagy. “In the event that I cannot be a pilot, I have a business degree which would allow me to get a job; not as a pilot, but still related to aviation.” Nagy is hopeful and eager to exploit his knowledge and passion for aviation. He has future plans of a graduate degree from Lynn as well as pursuing his dream of being a pilot. “I am also currently in the application process for Air Force Officer Training School which I would love to become an Air Force officer, and hopefully be able to be a pilot as well,” said Nagy. When discussing his time spent at Lynn, Nagy has many unforgettable memories to cherish forever. “I am particularly proud of the flight training I went through at the Lynn University Burton D.
