It’s the first time since 2008 WSU has played six regular season games at home and the first time since 2006 that all six teams are FCS opponents. Weber State has had great success at home in recent years. The Wildcats have won nine of the last 10, 12 of their last 14, and 18 of the last 21 games played at Stewart Stadium.

Weber’s first game was played on Oct. 8, 1919, a 20-0 loss to Box Elder High School in Brigham City. The first win was on Oct. 31, 1991, a 6-0 win over Davis High School in Ogden. Weber State became a junior college in 1933, then became a four-year school in 1962. Jay Hill is in his sixth season as the head coach at Weber State. In addition to his duties as head Hill Profile coach, Hill is Hill’s third season also serving as the defensive coordinator for the Wildcats.
