Consulting Engineers TECHNICAL STATEMENT IN SUPPORT OF LICENSE RENEWAL DTV STATION KASY-TV ALBUQUERQUE, NEW MEXICO FACILITY ID 55049 CH 45 245 KW-DA 1287 M This technical statement was prepared in support of the license renewal application for DTV station KASY-TV at Albuquerque, New Mexico. Specifically, the purpose of this technical statement is to provide information demonstrating that the operation of KASY-TV complies with the maximum permissible radiofrequency electromagnetic exposure limits for controlled environments. DTV station KASY-TV is licensed (BLCDT-20030429ABF) to operate on channel 45 (656-662 MHz) with a directional antenna (DA) maximum effective radiated power (ERP) of 245 kilowatts (kW), an antenna radiation center height above mean sea level (RCAMSL) of 3301 meters, an antenna radiation center height above ground level (RCAGL) of 67 meters and an antenna height above average terrain (HAAT) of 1287 meters. A Dielectric model TUD-O5-8/40H-T, horizontally polarized, directional antenna is employed. The licensed KASY-TV facilities were evaluated in terms of potential radiofrequency radiation (RFR) exposure at ground level at the base of the tower in accordance with OST Bulletin No. 65, "Evaluating Compliance With FCC-Specified Guidelines for Human Exposure to Radiofrequency Radiation."
