Wellspring is very excited to be celebrating our 40th year as a unique and authentic voice in modern dance and a pillar of our local arts community. We have withstood many ups and downs over the years, including this year’s COVID19 shutdown. And as in prior years, we have applied intelligence, perseverance and determination to push forward in service of our mission, students, partners, audience and community. As one of America’s oldest modern dance companies and a distinguished place where dance is offered right here in Kalamazoo, we are proud to have carried out our commitment to produce, inspire, teach and deliver great art over all these years. Wellspring believes in the power of art and what it means to our lives and our culture; it is where we find our purpose and how we discover meaning in this oftentimes crazy and chaotic world. We must find beauty both around and within us despite the challenges life presents, and to interpret it in ways that move us intellectually, emotionally and spiritually. We can’t thank you enough for standing with us! With your continued support we will carry on creating engaging dance that celebrates the human condition and the essence of our time. Sincerely, Judah Gesmundo Wellspring Board President MIDWEST RAD FEST 3 MARCH 5 – 7, 2021 https://www.kalamazooarts.org https://www.kalamazooarts.org for all that Wellspring/Cori Terry & Dancers does for dancers https://www.kalamazooarts.organd dance in Southwest Michigan, including hosting the Midwest RAD Fest.
