REGULATIONS, DATED 16TH JUNE, 1952, MADE BY THE MINISTRY OF HEALTH AND LOCAL GOVERNMENT UNDER SECTION FIVE OF THE WELFARE SERViCES ACT (NORTHERN IRELAND), 1949. . . 1952; . No. 96 The Ministry ()f Health and Local Government, in exercise of the powers conferred upon it by section five of the Welfare Services Act (Northern' Ireland), 1949, hereby makes the following regulations :- , RAILWAY' 449

1.~(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Welfare Authorities (Charges Jor Residential Accommodation) (Amendment) Regulations • (Northern Ireland), 1952, and shall come into, operation on the 16th day of June; 1952. ' (2) The Interpretation Act, 1921, shall apply for the purpose of the interpretation of these Regulatio.ns in like manner as it applies for the mterpretation of an Act of the ParFameht of Northern Ireland. . . . . 2. Regulation four of the Welfare Authorities (Charges for ~~si~en tial Accom;rnodation) RegJ,llations (Northern Ireland), 1949 (a), shall have effect as if there Were substituted for 'paragraphs (a), (b) and (e) thereof,. the following paragraphs:~, . (a)jn respect ,ofa child under five years of age the sum of eleven , shillings per week.; , " ' (b) in respect of a' child aged five years or over, but less than eleven years, the sum of'thirteen shillings and siXpence' per' week; , (e). in respect of a child aged eleven years or over, but less than sixteen years, the sllin of sixteen shillings per week. 3. The Welfare Authorities (Charges for Residential Accommoda tion) (Ame.ndment) Regulations'(Northem Irela.nd), 1951 (b) are hereby revoked.
