SUMMARY

THANK YOU for a Fantastic Year Two!

On October 14, 2017, WSSSM celebrated our 2nd anniversary with a party attended by some 100 supporters including 6 Olympians. Board Member and Ski Historian, Lowell Skoog, gave a presentation about the revival of the Mountaineers Patrol Race, the oldest continuing ski race, first held in 1930. In 2017, Board Member and Ski Historian John W. Lundin published his book, Early Skiing on Snoqualmie Pass, with a foreword by WSSSM President Dave Moffett. Proceeds for this book benefit the museum. You can purchase a copy at the museum gift shop or at any local bookstore. Sadly, we said goodbye to ski cartoonist Bob Cram this past year. Thank you to all who donated to WSSSM in Cram’s memory. And finally, WSSSM launched our first ever eBay for Charity fundraiser in support of our 2017 annual fundraising campaign. Annual Fund donations increased by 60% for 2017. THANK YOU FOR SUPPORTING THE WASHINGTON STATE SKI & SNOWBOARD MUSEUM!
