Heat first batch for two minutes and thirty seconds. On subsequent batches, time may be added until popping slows to two seconds apart. Stop the microwave when popping slows. Herb, Garlic and Parmesan Popcorn 1 tablespoon butter or margarine, softened 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder 1/8 teaspoon dried thyme 1/8 teaspoon dried basil 2/3 cup finely grated parmesan cheese, more if desired Popcorn kernels In a small bowl, combine the softened butter, or margarine, and garlic powder.
