FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Alex Riethmiller – 310.840.4635 NFL – 12/9/19 [email protected] NFL RELEASES TIGHT ENDS AND OFFENSIVE LINEMEN TO BE NAMED FINALISTS FOR THE ‘NFL 100 ALL-TIME TEAM’ 18 Offensive Linemen and 5 Tight Ends to be Named to All-Time Team Episode 4 of ‘NFL 100 All-Time Team’ Airs on Friday, December 13 at 8:00 PM ET on NFL Network Following the reveal of the defensive back and specialist All-Time Team class last week, the NFL is proud to announce the 40 offensive linemen (16 offensive tackles; 15 guards; 9 centers) and 12 tight ends that are finalists for the NFL 100 All-Time Team. 39 of the 40 offensive linemen finalists have been enshrined in the Pro Football Hall of Fame. The 12 finalists at tight end include eight Pro Football Hall of Famers and combine for 711 career receiving touchdowns. Episode three will also reveal four head coaches to make the NFL 100 All-Time Team. The NFL100 All-Time Team airs every Friday at 8:00 PM ET through Week 17 of the regular season. Rich Eisen, Cris Collinsworth and Bill Belichick reveal selections by position each week, followed by a live reaction show hosted by Chris Rose immediately afterward, exclusively on NFL Network. From this group of finalists, the 26-person blue-ribbon voting panel ultimately selected seven offensive tackles, seven guards, four centers and five tight ends to the All-Time Team. Dave Butz Selected To The College Football Hall of Fame, May 22, 2014 Of the 132 scholarships Dave Butz received, he kept one as a souvenir. The offer had nothing to do with playing football, a sport that paved the way for the former Purdue defensive tackle's selection to the College Football Hall of Fame on Thursday. "Coach (Adolph) Rupp at Kentucky wanted me to play basketball," said Butz, who selected the Boilermakers over Michigan. "I was like 6-7, 280. I was giving new meaning to the words power forward." All of Butz's activities were geared toward football, even playing basketball to improve his footwork and agility skills. It led to Butz becoming a three-year letterwinner for head coach Bob DeMoss at Purdue, developing into one of the top defensive tackles in the nation. "I don't think I could've done it without all the teammates that I had," Butz said of his Hall of Fame selection. "It helps to have such a good group of guys to help you get in." The first thing that struck teammate Otis Armstrong about Butz was his size. "He's one of the biggest guys I've ever seen," the former Boilermaker running back said Thursday. Armstrong became a Hall of Fame member two years ago, and knows the emotions Butz is experiencing. Armstrong and Butz played at Purdue from 1970 to 1972 and shared captain duties during their senior season. "He looked like a Greek god. He was really built," Armstrong said. "He moved people out of the way. -

It’s the ninth 100-yard game of Parker’s career, which is tied for eighth in Dolphins history. • Parker finished today’s game with 259 career receptions for 3,698 yards (14.3 avg.). His 3,698 yards move him past RB Tony Nathan (3,592) for ninth place in team history in all-time receiving yards. Parker is 340 yards shy of WR Jarvis Landry (4,038) for eighth place. • Parker’s 10 receptions were a career high. The last Dolphins player to catch 10+ passes in a game was Landry (10) on Dec. 17, 2017 at Buffalo. • Parker recorded the 250th reception of his career in the first quarter of today’s game. • At the end of today’s 1 p.m. games, Parker led all NFL players with 1,280 receiving yards dating back to Week 7 of the 2019 season, which encompasses 16 games. If those 16 games were its own season, Parker’s 1,280 receiving yards would be the fourth-best mark in a single season in Dolphins history.
