ElectiOn Of Office bearers Frances Bedford MP, as Returning Officer, declared all IWD Committee positions vacant. Call fOr nOminatiOns Nominations called for President. Joan Russell was nominated by Toni Jupe, seconded by Monica Chiappe. Joan accepted the nomination and was elected unopposed. Nominations called for Vice President. Gilda Campbell self-nominated and was seconded by Perla Soberon-Brittle. Gilda was elected unopposed. Nominations called for Hon. Secretary Maria JOhns self-nominated and was seconded by Shannon Taheny. Maria was elected unopposed. Nominations called for Assistant Secretary Heather Paterson was nominated by Maria Johns, seconded by Sue Dyer. Heather accepted the nomination and was elected unopposed. Nominations called for Hon. Treasurer Sue Gredley was nominated by Joan Russell, seconded by Gautami Patel. Sue accepted the nomination and was elected unopposed. All other nominees accepted, and were elected unopposed. The incoming President Joan Russell congratulated all elected committee members. Joan formally thanked Toni for her 12 years’ service as President, with acclaim from the floor. Other Business The proposed resolution that the new Constitution be endorsed by Committee Members present was deferred until a future general meeting. The meeting closed at 8.05pm. 2 .
