The band was originally a Metallica classical tribute band, but has since extended their song selection to the delight of their fans. The band was scheduled to play to a sold-out crowd at the Rave/Eagles Club in Milwaukee the evening of their meal at the Five O'Clock Steakhouse. They visited Milwaukee as one of their stops on their way to promote their album "Shadowmaker." Managing partner and longtime musician Stelio Kalkounos was delighted to have the international sensation dine at the popular steakhouse. Stelio reports that they exchanged a lively conversation, as the group enjoyed dinner and drinks at the steakhouse. They seemed particularly interested in the history of the steakhouse which opened in the 1940s, asking questions about the old days, and praising the "old school" vibe of the restaurant. Stelio reports that the band was extremely "humble and generous," and to the staff's surprise they were all given tickets for the show, including backstage access, courtesy of Apocalyptica. Stelio adds that the Alley Cat Lounge is now open after 30 years, and hosts live music every Friday evening. Local and national acts have performed on the lounge stage, and partner and musician Stelio states that generally there is no cover charge, just great food, amazing steaks, old style cocktails, and fantastic music.
