Georgia Public Charter School Member of the College Board 2014 National Blue Ribbon School Accredited by AdvancED Otho Tucker, PhD Lake Oconee Academy (LOA) opened in 2007 as a locally approved public charter Chief Executive Officer school, with eleven kindergarten students. Now including grades PK 4-12 and more than eleven hundred students, with over 30% students of color and 22% on Jody Worth, EdD free/reduced lunch (which are not necessarily the same students), LOA has Chief Academic Officer graduated three classes and over 130 alumni. LOA is known for academic excellence, competitive athletics, expressive arts, and students who thrive as scholars and Chris Harth, PhD citizens and contribute positively to their communities.
