Caroline, who sadly lost her mother Janet to a brain tumour three years ago, was inspired by the Christmas Hope Trees which decorate the charity’s Research Centres of Excellence across the UK each year. The Hope Tree cards will join other festive favourites in the charity’s range. All cards are priced at £4 per pack of ten, with at least 60% of the proceeds going towards supporting vital brain tumour research. Brain Tumour Research is the only national charity in the UK focused on funding sustainable research to find a cure for brain tumours, which kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer. www.braintumourresearch.org/fundraise/christmas-cards 2 Families Gloucestershire To advertise call: 01684 770566 or email: [email protected] familiesonline.co.uk News & Views Girls Outperform Boys In SATS Provisional results of the primary school Key Stage 2 SATs tests show girls performing better than boys in all areas.
