I typically love this genre of writing and have enjoyed previous The Rule of Nine novelsbut the latest disapoints. To begin with it is more dependent upon Martini's last novel Gaurdian of Lies The Rule of Nine I would have liked. While it is not necessary to have read that one and for the record I did much of the motivation of the key players is dependant on events from the earlier novel.
