    The Vision of a Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao

    HARVARD DESIGN SCHOOL THE VISION OF A GUGGENHEIM MUSEUM IN BILBAO In a March 31, 1999 article, the Washington Post? posed the following question: "Can a single building bring a whole city back to life? More precisely, can a single modern building designed for an abandoned shipyard by a laid-back California architect breath new economic and cultural life into a decaying industri- al city in the Spanish rust belt?" Still, the issues addressed by the article illustrate only a small part of the multifaceted Guggenheim Museum of Bilbao. A thorough study of how this building was conceived and made reveals equally significant aspects such as getting the best from the design architect, the master handling of the project by an inexperienced owner, the pivotal role of the executive architect-project man- ager, the dependence on local expertise for construction, the transformation of the architectural profession by information technology, the budgeting and scheduling of an unprecedented project without sufficient information.     Nota de prensa Nueva reapertura de las 10 tiendas adquiridas en marzo EROSKI INAUGURA UN NUEVO SUPERMERCADO EN BASAURI El renovado establecimiento ofrece una gama especialista en alimentos frescos y apuesta por los productos locales EROSKI ha invertido 8 millones de euros en la reforma y transformación de las 10 tiendas adquiridas en marzo Entre este mes y el primer trimestre del 2021 se inaugurarán las otras tres tiendas adquiridas en Bizkaia Basauri (Bizkaia), 10 de diciembre de 2020.- EROSKI ha abierto un supermercado en el número 22 de la calle Nagusia en Basauri. Se trata de la séptima reapertura de las diez tiendas adquiridas el pasado marzo. Hasta el momento durante los últimos meses se han inaugurado cuatro tiendas en Bilbao, en la calle Henao y Autonomía y en los barrios de Rekalde y Deusto, una en Romo (Getxo) y otra en Erandio. El último supermercado de este año se abrirá el próximo jueves en Galdakao y los dos restantes durante el primer trimestre de 2021. De esta manera, EROSKI amplía su presencia a todos los barrios de Bilbao y completa su oferta con tiendas en Getxo, Astrabudua, Santurtzi, Basauri y Galdakao, alcanzando prácticamente los 90 supermercados en el Gran Bilbao. La nueva tienda, que opera bajo la enseña EROSKI/City, dispone de una sala de ventas de más de 800 metros cuadrados y cuenta con una plantilla de 31 personas que han recibido formación para desarrollar su especialización en las secciones de frescos y ofrecer la mejor atención y soluciones a los clientes. Entre las señas de identidad del nuevo supermercado destaca la apuesta por la atención personalizada al cliente con la incorporación de mostradores en las secciones de carnicería, charcutería y pescadería.
