Despite these obstacles, I Saturday, May 22, 2021 | 9 AM–noon am incredibly proud of our PRCS team as they have stayed focused on providing the community of Valdez with a beacon of light in these challenging times. The area Trail System of these trails is extensive, so trail conditions can vary greatly. Use caution when recreating in these areas and always be aware of the possibility of multiple types of users. Be especially cautious on blind corners and near open water.

BE AWARE! All-use trails have 2-way traffic. Stay to the right. Snowmachines must yield to dog sleds & non-motorized traffic.

NOTE: During one Saturday in March, the Valdez Mayor’s Cup—a 200-mile cross-country snowmachine race—takes place. For maximum safety, all Glacier Stream Plateau Trails will be closed to all other users during this event. For information on trails and closures, please follow us on Facebook @valdezalaskafun.
