PARENT GOVERNOR – WEST EXE SCHOOL,

West Exe School is a seeking a new parent governor to join our existing governing body.

We are looking to recruit a parent governor who shares our passion, vision and drive and is prepared to go that extra mile to support our students. We are looking to strengthen our governance with an energetic and driven individual who can offer expertise across both education and business.

As part of the Ted Wragg Multi Academy Trust, a charitable foundation trust, we work with schools in Exeter and the local community to raise the aspirations of young people to enable them to become fulfilled, confident, and motivated citizens and to be able to contribute actively to a democratic society. All students within the Ted Wragg Trust, regardless of social or cultural background, are motivated to succeed and make outstanding progress because their needs are met through creative, relevant and innovative provision.

The Ted Wragg Multi Academy Trust family of schools currently consists of , St James School, Cranbrook Education Campus, Whipton Barton Federation, St Luke’s Church of England School, West Exe School, Exwick Heights Primary school, and . The Trust has trustees from the University of Exeter and Exeter College as well as from local businesses.

The role of a governor is a voluntary post; however, we are able to offer training and personal development, extensive support from our wide network of governors and limitless opportunity to positively impact on the education and life chances of our young people at West Exe School.
