WYOMING IS GETTING STRONGER “From my first day as Governor, I have pushed for economic growth, support for local governments, infrastructure development, government efficiency and advances in technology. Those efforts are paying off.” Matt Mead As your Governor, I have: If you have questions please contact me: Fought Federal overreach Supported Second Amendment rights Matt Mead Developed a strong balanced energy strategy P.O. Box 1830 Fostered a strong business climate and strong economy Proudly supported active military and veterans Cheyenne, WY 82003 Flattened the budget Reduced the size of state government (307) 514‐6591 Achieved the lowest tax burden of any state Keep the Momentum Going – Please vote for me August 19 CINDY HILL…GOVERNOR I protected your rights. I have fought for, and protected, your rights. I fought for your vote in education, I have protected your 1st Amendment rights, and I fought against data collection on students without the parents’ knowledge. You must have a governor who does not take away your rights. Gas tax. Wyoming is one of the most mineral rich states in the country. Yet we are taxing our people an additional $.10 per gallon on fuel. There is more than enough money in our state to take care of our roads and highways without increasing the burden on our citizens. As governor I will repeal this unnecessary tax on the Wyoming people. Common Core. The current governor went before the State School Board and said that he wanted the Common Core adopted “without further delay.” I opposed it and voted no. I believe that we as a state should have the highest standards in education and not set by those from far outside our state. As governor I will repeal the Common Core.
