Summary About the service St Michael’s is an Independent School which is situated in the village of Bryn, close to the large town of Llanelli in Carmarthenshire. It offers boarding provision to students in its two boarding houses - Parc House, a short distance away from the main school for the younger boarders and Ty Mawr, a purpose built boarding house situated in the school grounds for year eleven to thirteen pupils. At the time of the inspection there were 47 boarding students. There has been a change of Head Teacher since the school was last inspected by the Care and Social Services Inspectorate Wales (CSSIW), with Head Teacher, Alun Millington, appointed in January 2015.
