British infantrymen were supported, on King sector by amphibious tanks (DD tanks) of 4/7 Dragoon Guards and AVRE tanks of C squadron Westminster Dragoons, on Jig sector by DD tanks of Sherwood Rangers and Nottingham Yeomanry and AVRE of B squadron Westminster Dragoons. A commando unit , 2 x7 47th Royal Marines Commando, landed with the follow-up wave to advance towards port en bessin. After fierce fighting on the beach in front of La Rivière and Le Hamel, units of the 50th Infantry Division advanced inland and realized the best Allied bridgehead of the D-Day. 3 x1 The stage is set, the battle line are drawn, and you are in command. The rest is history. - Radar station is out of service. 4 x10 Briefing - Axis player lays out the minefields (Terrains 29). Allied player [United Kingdom] : 10 command cards, you move first. 5 x2 Axis player [Germany] : 8 command cards. Conditions of Victory 6 x1 12 medals. Ver-sur-Mer, Meuvaines, Asnelles and the Radar station 7 x7 are a temporary medal objective for the Allied player. Special Rules 8 x3 -Use "BCF Command" rules (Nations 5). - Use "Specialized Units" rules for 47th RM Commando unit (Troops 2). 9 x9 Use "Combat Engineer" rules for AVRE units (Troop 4). AVRE unit can open a path in the antitank ditch. (Option : you can use the "Funnies" figures of the Equipment Pack 10 x9 with one accessory by AVRE unit). - Use "Sniper" rules for the single figure unit in the lighthouse (Troops 10). 11 x24 - Use "Mobile Artillery" rules for the 124th and 147th FAR (Troops 14). - Use "Destroyer" rules (Troops 12) and "Landing Craft" 12 x24 rules (Troops 15). - Use "Heavy Anti-Tank Guns" rules (Troops 23) to the Axis artillery unit. 13 x4 - Use "Special Weapon Asset", "Anti-Tank Weapon late war" and "Machine-guns late war" rules (SWAs 4, 5 & 7) to the Axis units with badges. 14 x17 - Only infantry could cross the antitank ditch.
