Principal FM Consultant Nick Blake
Nick Blake is an experienced Facilities Manager and MBA graduate. He Joined BSRIA in the summer of 2018 to support the Sustainable Construction Group in delivering services to building owners and operators in the FM field: from conceptual design to on-site construction right through to post occupancy evaluation and legacy systems.
Nick has background of experience from within the facilities management and construction industries, where he has worked on single residences to multimillion pound commercial projects and going concerns, both in the private and public sector. Nick has worked across a diverse portfolio of service industries such as education, travel, healthcare, retail and hospitality.
Nick provides fact based guidance and consultancy services that will help those involved in designing, constructing and operating services in the built environment to improve cost, quality, time and predictability of performance. His role covers building services condition reviews, delivery of training courses, researching and writing FM services guidance and investigations into incorrectly performing building systems.
