Mrs. Wisdom Mrs. Wisdom worked for 11 years as a guidance counselor. She is retiring this year to pursue her doctorate in education as she needed the time to complete her studies. After she retires Mrs. Wis- dom plans to work in college admissions or teach at a college level. The thing she will miss the most is her students since she loves them, the great team of faculty she has encountered over the years and her “guidance family.”

Fortunately, they were not disappointed. Being able to witness how the original cast had aged and what their children were like was practically a dream come true. Toula, the main character of the first movie, learned to love her big Greek family rather than resent it, although her father still disap- proved of her marriage to a non-Greek man. Her father is also a very stubborn man, who believes everyone and everything came from the Greeks; continuing to display his Greek stereotype for comedic effect. And her mother was still the image of hope for both Toula and her daughter, Paris. As for the second generation, they all had their own strong Greek personalities. From the start of the movie until the end, laughter erupted continuously throughout the theater. However, to understand some of the main jokes in the movie, one would have had to seen the original prior to seeing the sequel. But even so, the new jokes were just as enjoyable as the older ones were. The movie begins with Paris, daughter of Toula and Ian, trying to decide where she wants to go to college, her main goal being to get as far away from her loud, obnoxious, and overbearing Greek family as she possibly could.
