FROM THE PROVINCIAL COORDINATOR NPP Annual Report 2012-2013

Another year and has come and gone and Manitoba continues to help strengthen families by offering this program. I have had the pleasure to see how this program changes lives. Trainers, Facilitators, Facilitator mentees, and parents have all had a positive experience when they encounter the program!

My zealous commitment to the program will have me striving to the accomplish the following in the 2013-2014 fiscal year: • to focus on support for NPP Trainers and Facilitators throughout the province with workshops, promoting the use of the new National Facilitator Blog, etc • to continue with NPP promotion within the province • to continue to work with the remaining Parent Child Coalitions throughout the province to provide training opportunities • to promote and facilitate the use the Home Visitor Project and Newcomer Project Adaptations to Trainers and Facilitators in later 2013 and in early 2014 • to promote the revised materials and the Knowledge Sharing Forum at the Early Years Conference in Vancouver with the National Coordinator, and then again in Manitoba!

THANKS! To Healthy Child Manitoba, the Public Health Agency of Canada, the Manitoba NPP Steering Committee, and to the Staff of Youville Centre who are all committed to Nobody’s Perfect Parenting.
