JARROD PARKER • Had no decisions and a 10.61 ERA in three spring training starts before it was announced he would undergo Tommy John surgery for the second time in his career. • Was placed on the 60-day disabled list March 20 and had the surgery March 24…the surgery was performed by Dr. James Andrews in the Andrews Institute in Pensacola, Florida…also had Tommy John surgery October 28, 2009 while a member of the Arizona Diamondbacks organization. DREW POMERANZ • Is in his fourth professional season and his fourth season in the majors but is on his first Opening Day roster.
