Pediatric Residency Program Director at Renown Children’s Hospital The University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine (UNR Med) and Renown Children’s Hospital (RCH) are seeking our inaugural Pediatric Residency Program Director. The Department of Pediatrics at the University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine (UNR Med) seeks qualified and highly energetic candidates to become the first Director of our planned Pediatric Residency Program, envisioned to open in 2021. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience, preferably in an academic institution affiliated with a children’s hospital, Board certification in their specialty and demonstrable experience in medical education leadership. We are looking for somebody familiar with the ACGME regulations and the skills and experience to lead the application process. While the Director position is only a part-time position (0.5 FTE), we anticipate recruiting a candidate that will work full time, with the remainder of the time dedicated to clinical duties, administration, and/or research. The salary, indexed to 50th percentile for AAMC Western Region, and rank are dependent upon qualifications and experience (Associate or full Professor). This is a leadership position and will report to the Chair of Pediatrics, who also serves as the Physician- in-Chief of RCH.
