Harp Events for 2015

January 3, 2015 What: Leah and Rodger will play for the Madrigal Feast - a Magical, Musical Medieval Feast Where: Covington, VA When: Saturday January 3, 2015 from 6-9pm Join family and friends in an intimate medieval setting for a charming evening of song and celebration. The stage is set by candlelight, Celtic harp and hurdy-gurdy, followed by the traditional boar's head procession,wassail bowl, and flaming figgy pudding. March 14, 2015 What: Irish Spring Festival Where: Ireland, West Virginia in the Methodist Church on the hill When: Saturday, March 14, 2015 from 10:30am-4pm Leah will lead harp workshops, and play in the harp concert. 10:30-11:30am - Harp workshop for Intermediate Harpers, in the fellowship hall. 2pm - Harp Concert in the Church, featuring harpers from around the region. The Celtic Harp Ensemble from Lewisburg, WV will also play. Leah and Rodger Trent will play harp and concertina duets. 3-4pm - Beginning harp workshop in the fellowship hall, for anyone who wants to try playing the harp.
