NORTH CADBURY AND YARLINGTON PARISH COUNCIL NEIGHBOURHOOD PLAN

Dear Leisa,

In 2017 the parish Council completed a Parish Plan. This project included a questionnaire which had an almost 50% response rate. In this questionnaire the vast majority of respondents wanted more influence on the development of the parish council area (North Cadbury, Woolston, Yarlington and Galhampton). This was not just in housing but also in many other areas. At the Parish Council meeting on 27th June 2019 the The Parish Council then decided unanimously to start the process of writing a neighbourhood plan.

We would be grateful if would note that:

1. North Cadbury and Yarlington parish council (which includes both Woolston and Galhampton) is the responsible body for the writing of the neighbourhood plan and seeks to be the designated body for this purpose.

2. The map showing the boundaries of the parish is identical with the one you sent in your email of 13th June 2019. This map is enclosed.

3. All communications about the Neighbourhood Plan should be sent to me as Clerk, however, please can they also be copied to Michael Martin as chair of the Working Group on this project [email protected]?

I would be grateful if you could process the intention of the Parish Council to write a neighbourhood Plan and confirm receipt of this message.
