RESEARCH INTERESTS  Design and synthesis of monomers, copolymers, terpolymers.  Characterizations of monomers, copolymers and terpolymers.  Thermal properties of polymers – Stability, Kinetics of thermal degradation.  Application of polymers - Ion-exchangers; Drugs; Corrosion inhibitors; Nano composites.

KEY SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES Leadership I have played the role of advisor to the M.Sc. students and M.Phil. scholars in the research lab. This has allowed me to learn most aspects of all projects in the lab and has provided me with key experience in leadership and project management. Technical I have been exposed to a diverse array of techniques in polymer synthesis and characterizations. I am well versed in the characterization of polymers by FTIR, UV-Vis., ESR, NMR, TGA, SEM, GPC and XRD. Depth knowledge in thermal degradation kinetic analysis using TGA, DTA and DSC.
