Bears are 1-1 in the Sugar Bowl. • Bears are now 0-2 in domes this season and 3-3 in the last three seasons in dome stadiums. • The Bears and Georgia met for the ffth time in program history. The Bears are 0-5 all-time against Georgia. • The Sugar Bowl is Baylor’s eighth bowl matchup with current members of the SEC. The Bears defeated Vanderbilt 45-38 in the 2018 . The Bears did not allow a TD on an opening drive all season. • Through 14 games the Bears have held opponents to just 83 total frst half points and only 45 second quarter points. It is the 11th 1,000+ receiving performance in program history. He is only the third Bear in program history with multiple 1,000+ yards receiving seasons (2017, 2019). • WR Denzel Mims tied for 10th on the single-season receptions list with 5 today to give him 66 on the season. • WR Denzel Mims tied for fourth all-time with 187 career receptions (tied with Tevin Reese, 2010-13). • DE James Lockhart hauls in his 6th sack of the season. • DT Bravvion Roy collects 1 sack on the day, giving him 5.5 on the season, 7.5 for his career. • TE Christoph Henle hauls in 2 receptions, tying his career high. • QB Charlie Brewer rushed for his 11th TD of the season (18th of his career) on a 1-yd TD rush in the third quarter. It was just the second rushing TD allowed by Georgia all season. • QB Charlie Brewer’s 11th rushing TD of the season moves him up to third most in Baylor single-season history, rushing TDs by a QB. Also ranks 8th in the all-time rushing TDs on the season by any player in BU history. • QB Charlie Brewer’s 18th career rushing TD keeps him at 4th on the Baylor all-time QB rushing list, 2 away from tying for 3rd (Seth Russell, 20). • QB Charlie Brewer threw for his 51st career passing TD, 21st of the season when he connected with Mims’ on a 12-yd score in the third quarter. • QB Charlie Brewer fnished the season with 32 TDs (21 pass, 11 rush) on the season, passing RGIII (2010) to take sole posession of third in TDs in a single-season by a QB. • DL James Lynch added 1.0 TFL for 33.5 in his career, tied for seventh most in Baylor history. • DL James Lynch collected one sack on the day, giving him 13.5th sacks of the season, adding to his BU single-season mark in the category. He has played in more games than anyone in Baylor history. • OL Sam Tecklenburg made his 39th-consecutive start, 42nd career start overall, tops on the team.
