Primary delegate in the RCM approval process. As AVP, I jointly manage 10.6-million-dollar budget for online education. • Fund Raising – Established the Weiss Family Foundation Scholarship. Given to students for promoting scientific research. Recipient gets $1500 cash scholarship. Actively working with potential donors/community members to procure additional funding.

• Assessment Coordinator – Responsible for conducting assessment in all undergraduate degree programs within the School every semester. Led the school faculty in preparing academic programs for accreditation and external program reviews.

• Curriculum development – o Developed an on-campus B.S. in Biochemistry degree program at IU East. This degree is aimed at Pre-Medical, Pre-Veterinary and Pre-Pharmacy students. o Developed an on-campus B.S. in Human Life Science degree program for students interested in getting into occupational therapy, physical therapy, and physician’s assistant program. o Designed a B.A. in Biochemistry degree program. o Introduced a Chemistry Honors component. This section provides undergraduates research experience in my research lab. o Developed online courses – A two semester sequence - Hormones and Human Health I and II. When first offered, this high enrollment course led to a significant increase in school revenue. I have routinely offered the following online courses (100% or Hybrid)- CHEM C-101 Introductory Chemistry Lectures; CHEM C-121 Introductory Chemistry Labs; CHEM C-484 Biomolecules and Catabolism; CHEM T-550 Introductory Biochemistry. o Developed new programs (face-to-face) on IU East campus – Master of Art for Teachers (M.A.T.) in Biology. Also, created new minors within IU East – Minor in Neuroscience (in collaboration with School of Humanities and Social Science), Minor in Chemical Entrepreneurship and Minor in Biological Entrepreneurship (both in collaboration with School of Business). • Developed new lab facilities at IU East, including growth chambers, tissue culture suite, high end equipment like confocal microscope, real-time PCR, ultra-centrifuges, sonicator, gel documentation system, GCMS & HPLC. Responsible for maintaining lab facilities and equipment. • Advisor to the Dean (2008 – 2016) on hiring, supervision and retention of adjunct faculty and lab personnel. • Initiated and organized a Board of Advisors for the school of Natural Science and Mathematics. Was responsible for recruiting prominent members of the committee who now serve on the board. The board met twice each year and reviewed new projects, e.g. internship opportunities for NSM majors.
