LEITZ M-MOUNT FOR ARRI ALEXA Mini LF, Mini and AMIRA FOR ARRI ALEXA Mini LF Just swap the ARRI LPL-Mount to the Leitz M-MOUNT for ARRI ALEXA Mini LF, Mini and AMIRA (later Leitz M- MOUNT) and you are ready to roll. No other modification on the camera needed. FOR ARRI ALEXA Mini and AMIRA BEFORE GETTING STARTED Before using the Leitz M-MOUNT for the first time, the camera needs to be sent to ARRI Service for hardware modification and internal adaptation. Otherwise the sensor cover glass might be damaged and vignetting and unwanted reflections will occur. Contact ARRI Service in your region to arrange the conversion here: https://www.arri.com/en/technical-service/technical-support/service-requests Once the conversion is completed the camera will be usable with the ARRI PL-Mount, Leitz M-MOUNT, and other ARRI-approved mounts without any restrictions or quality loss. No further conversions will be needed when switching between existing mounts. WARNING NOTICE The use of the Leitz M-MOUNT on unmodified cameras can result in damage to the camera, the lens or both. Use of the Leitz M-MOUNT on unmodified cameras voids all warranty and responsibility of Ernst Leitz Wetzlar GmbH. In the situation that the Leitz M-MOUNT is used on an unmodified camera, responsibility for any damage will rest solely on the user and not on Ernst Leitz Wetzlar GmbH. LENS COMPATIBILITY The Leitz M-MOUNT is designed specifically to work with the Leitz M 0.8 lenses from Ernst Leitz Wetzlar GmbH. Other M-Mount lenses vary as to how far the rear elements extend beyond the mount and even with the camera modification some other lenses may extend too far and damage the OLPF of the camera as well as the lens being used. While other M-Mount lenses may be usable with this mount, the responsibility for testing and confirming usability rests solely on the user and caution is advised. Ernst Leitz Wetzlar GmbH is not responsible for the use of any M-Mount lenses from any manufacturer outside of the Leitz M 0.8 lens series. NOTES When focusing to infinity, the iris gear moves towards the focus gear; the rear group moves towards the camera sensor and exceeds the mount flange up to 13.8 mm.
