A wide variety of programs are offered to the students and costs vary depending upon level of participation. Discounts are available for full-time program use and for additional siblings in the program. Financial aid is available to qualified applicants. School vacation and early release day programs are offered for an additional fee. Glover School Arrival and Dismissal Procedures: Arrival and Dismissal Procedures: Arrival Plan: Glover hours are 8:50am to 3:14pm. Student should arrive between 8:35am to 8:45am. As there is no supervision prior to 8:35am , families requiring an earlier drop off should contact Pam Dorsey at [email protected] to enroll their child/ren in the Before School Program. Upon arrival, Grades K-1 students should proceed to the Cafeteria and line up according to classroom. Grades 2-5 students should proceed to designated outside class lines near the small playground located in the front of the building. Grade 2-5 lines will relocate to the gymnasium during inclement weather. To ensure we are efficiently using time on learning and providing the safest environment for our students, we do not allow parents to accompany students to their classrooms during morning drop off. Dismissal Plan: Dismissal takes place at 3:14pm. Bus students will convene in the cafeteria and be escorted to their buses. Kindergarten students will exit through the main doors of the school a few minutes earlier than grades 1-5. Grades 2-3 will exit through Exit “B” located immediately in front of the small playground. Grades 1, 4, and 5 will exit through the main doors of the school. 1. Car Drop Off/ Pick Up a. Curbside Drop Off/ Pick Up - Cars must enter through the main parking lot Entrance “1” and proceed through the parking lot to the curb at the end of the footpath. To ensure the safety of all students and the efficiency of circulation on Canton Avenue, this is strictly a car drop off and pick up area. Parents should pull as far forward as possible, and most importantly, remain in the car at all times. b. Walkup Drop Off/ Pick Up - Parents/ guardians who wish to drop off/ pick up their child/ren at their designated meeting location MUST park at the Turner’s Pond parking area. The main school parking lot is closed during the drop off/pick up designated times. During pick up, parents/ guardians may wait outside the main entrance to greet their child/ren, or remain at Turner’s Pond to await older
