Bruton Smith, Jeff Burton, Reed Sorenson, John Andretti, Bill Lester, and 2 David Ragan to Atlanta Motor Speedway Day at the Capitol; and for other purposes. 3 WHEREAS, the General Assembly of Georgia is honored to be visited by six esteemed 4 members of the NASCAR community on March 16, 2006, Atlanta Motor Speedway Day at 5 the Capitol; and 6 WHEREAS, Mr. O. Bruton Smith serves as Chairman and CEO of Speedway Motorsports, 7 Inc.; and 8 WHEREAS, Mr. Jeff Burton is the driver of the No. 31 Cingular Chevrolet for Richard 9 Childress Racing (NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series); and 10 WHEREAS, Peachtree City native Mr. Reed Sorenson is the driver of the No. 41 Target 11 Dodge for Chip Ganassi Racing (NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series) and the No. 41 Discount 12 Tire Dodge (NASCAR Busch Series); and 13 WHEREAS, Mr. John Andretti is the driver of the No. 10 FreedomRoads Ford for ppc 14 Racing (NASCAR Busch Series) and owner of the Andretti Karting Center in Roswell, 15 Georgia; and 16 WHEREAS, Mr. Bill Lester, an Atlanta native, is the driver of the No. 22 Waste 17 Management Toyota for Bill Davis Racing (NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series); and 18 WHEREAS, Mr. David Ragan is the driver of the No. 6 Ford for Roush Racing (NASCAR 19 Craftsman Truck Series) and a native of Unadilla, Georgia; and 20 WHEREAS, the members of this body are very excited to be visited by these six outstanding 21 gentlemen. ADAM STEVENS: Crew Chief Biography Birthdate: 7/22/78 Hometown: Portsmouth, Ohio Residence: Huntersville, North Carolina Marital Status: Married to Aubrey Children: Carter and Ryan In just five seasons as a full-time NASCAR Cup Series crew chief, Adam Stevens has certainly etched his name into the record books as one-half of the most formidable driver-and-crew chief combinations the sport has ever seen. The 41-year-old native of Portsmouth, Ohio, first joined forces with Kyle Busch and the No. 18 M&M’S/Interstate Batteries Toyota for Joe Gibbs Racing (JGR) at the start of the 2015 Cup Series season and, in the relatively short time since, has led all competitors with two series championships and 27 victories in 169 races together through the 2019 campaign. Stevens and Busch clinched their second Cup Series title together at the most reason Championship 4 season finale last November at Homestead-Miami Speedway, where Busch led a race-high 120 laps and crossed the finish line a comfortable 4.5 seconds ahead of his JGR teammate Martin Truex Jr. Coupled with their 2015 championship together, Stevens became just the 15th crew chief in Cup Series history to win multiple championships, tying him with a virtual who’s who of history-making crew chiefs including Greg Zipadelli, Jeff Hammond, Andy Petree, Tim Brewer and Smokey Yunick with two titles apiece. Stevens’ and Busch’s 27 wins together is the most during the last five Cup Series seasons, the next-closest duo being driver Kevin Harvick and crew chief Rodney Childers, who won 21 races in that time and 26 wins together since their first and only championship season in 2014.

Skuttle Tight Supports NASCAR Driver Sprint Cup Driver Takes Skuttle Tight Ford to Richmond Charity Event and Returns to Midwest Tour Event in Skuttle Tight Ford Willmar, MN (April 18, 2013) Skuttle Tight is excited to announce it has once again teamed up with NASCAR driver David Ragan. David Ragan will hit the track a day early during NASCAR’s race week at Richmond VA International Raceway. The driver of the No. 34 Front Row Motorsports Ford will bring his own No. 77 Skuttle Tight Ford to the three-quarter mile track for the Denny Hamlin Short Track Showdown on Thursday, April 25. The 75-lap event serves as a fundraiser for the Denny Hamlin Cystic Fibrosis Research Lab at the Children’s Hospital of Richmond at VCU and will be run the day before track activity begins for the Sprint Cup Series race. The race typically features about a dozen NASCAR drivers battling some of the best local stock car driver’s on Richmond’s ¾-mile oval. Fans can purchase tickets for the event on www.rir.com. He is also scheduled to run a third race, the ARCA Fest at the Milwaukee Mile, on July 9. David will enter the popular Midwest Tour-sanctioned race in his No. 77 Skuttle Tight Ford. It will be the second consecutive year that Ragan will participate in the Swiss Colony Howie Lettow Memorial 150 presented by raceteamgear.com.
