In game two, pitcher Roger Benko drew a two-out walk with the bases loaded in the bottom of the twelfth for a 4-3 victory.

TIMBER RATTLERS (1995-2019): On June 23, 2008, the Timber Rattlers won 4–2 in fifteen innings at Cedar Rapids. Ron Garth and Alex Liddi each had RBI in the top of the sixth to tie the game 2–2. In the 15th, Juan Diaz was at third with one out, when Chris Armstrong threw a wild pitch on ball four of an intentional walk to Garth to allow Diaz to score. Denny Almonte added an insurance run with an two-out, RBI single.
