Dr. Emandi Sankara Rao, CMD, IFCI Ltd, is a rare CEO who has been implementing CSR projects with his own funds from the last 25 years. His main focus is on health and education. He helped people with cancer and heart diseases. He also helped many kids and youth who have suffered from cancer. One of the classic examples is of Ms. Archana Tewari, who was suffering from breast cancer in 2010. Dr. Rao brought her from Lucknow to Mumbai and got her operated and treated for 1 year in TATA Memorial- Cancer Hospital. He is also active in the rural areas for addressing the issues. He adopted 3 remote villages and 1 school. The villages did not have proper access at that time but now these villages are easily accessible. He also did social services for 80-90 families in these 3 villages. For last 10 years Dr. Emandi Sankara Rao has created the job employments in the farms. In education domain, Dr. Rao provided computers and school kits to the children and also provided physical school infrastructure. Dr. E.
