Saint Vincent College sees uptick in tutoring demands in wake of pandemic The tutoring program at Saint Vincent, which matches students with those studying education at the college, had 116 requests for sessions in the spring, said Carol Borland, coordinator of experiential learning in teacher education. The number of requests jumped to 137 this fall, a number that continually grows, Borland said.

Chatham University Plants Fruit Trees To Help Benefit Food Bank As the coronavirus pandemic continues, families have been relying on the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank to make sure they’re fed. On Wednesday, partnered with the food bank to make sure the supply is there to help families in need. Students and volunteers planted 64 fruit trees for the food bank orchard.
