William Prince William Prince by Ted A Griffin Table Of Contents Register Report for William Prince 1 Kinship Report for William Prince 76 Index 102 ii Register Report for William Prince Generation 1 1. WILLIAM1 PRINCE was born about 1788 in Candys Creek, Mcminniville, Tennessee, USA. He died in 1850 in Lawrence, Kentucky, United States. He married (1) LAURIE FYFFE in 1798. He married (2) RACHEL MURPHY about 1810 in Russell, Virginia, USA. She was born about 1784 in Tennessee, USA. She died in Lawrence, Kentucky, United States. Notes for William Prince: We know that William Prince was named William D. Prince as the 1850 census of Habersham county shows this, and also the 1850 delinquent tax list of Habersham shows the same name. The 1850 Murray county GA census shows William enumerated without his middle initial, but there is no doubt it is the same family (with a few unsurprising discrepancys) that appears in 1850 Habersham. As Joseph Prince owned land in Murray county GA in 1850, it is certainly likely that William was residing on that land once he left Habersham. (Phil Prince <[email protected]>) Notes for Laurie Fyffe: There is no evidence that this is correct. It is most likely that Laurie Fyffe married some other William Prince. Notes for Rachel Murphy: Rachel filed for divorce on Dec 21, 1835 stating that she and William had moved back to Lawrence Co. abt 1828 and in 1829 he had deserted her and taken up with Arty Mullins. (According to my Great Aunt Emma Prince Thompson, Carter Prince's Grandmother was a Gregor. She was the only child of a rich silk weaver from Ireland who was one of the first, if not THE first silk weaver in America. The Gregor's did not like their daughter's choice of Thomas Prince as a husband, so they begged her not to marry him, but she eloped and her father disowned her. He later changed his mind just before he died and sent for her, but her husband Thomas would not let her go. She was the only heir of money and wealth, but received nothing. I have no clue as to how this fits here and may be totally irrelavent - Ted Griffin) William Prince and Rachel Murphy had the following children: 2. i. JAMES2 PRINCE was born on 06 May 1814 in Lawrence, Kentucky, USA. He died on 28 Apr 1892 in Lawrence, Kentucky, USA. He married Mary Elizabeth Hensley on 18 Apr 1837 in Lawrence, Kentucky, USA. She was born on 15 Dec 1818. She died in Feb 1876. 3. ii. JOHN P PRINCE was born on 08 Feb 1818 in Irad, Lawrence Co., KY. He died on 23 May 1887 in Dry Ridge, Lawrence County, KY. She died on 10 Apr 1900 in Irad, Lawrence Co., KY. iii. CLARINDA PRINCE was born about 1820 in Lawrence, Kentucky, USA. Notes for Clarinda Prince: Clarenda, Clarinda or Clary, I'm not sure. (Ted Griffin) Clary was listed on the 1850 Census, living with her mother, her age was 40 and marked "insane". iv. RUTH PRINCE was born about 1820. She married Hezekiah Rice on 12 Sep 1835 in Lawrence, Kentucky, USA. He was born in 1803 in , , Virginia, USA. He died in 1848 in Carter, Kentucky, USA. 4. v. Hensley in 1837. No day or month was given, whereas all other marriages had the full date. I also have a letter from Mr. Donald Young, a direct descendant of James Prince, that states the wife of James Prince was Elizabeth Hensley. I scanned through my records of Prince's in Lawrence County but did not find any reference to Elizabeth Powell. Regards, Ron (Prince) James Prince and Mary Elizabeth Hensley had the following children: 7. i. WILLIAM3 PRINCE was born in Dec 1838. He married (1) SUSAN ?. She was born in 1841. 8. ii. Dear Coastal Commissioners and staff, The City of Trinidad agrees with your staff’s request to the Bureau of Indian Affairs that the Consistency Determination CD-0001-19 for the Trinidad Rancheria Hotel Development Project should be delayed until August 2019. This would allow for local participation in the hearing, and at least as important, it would allow for significant new information about the scope and impacts of the project to be considered in making your determination. If the BIA rejects your request for a time extension and requires that the Commission make this Consistency Determination in April 2019, the City of Trinidad urges the Coastal Commission to find the project as proposed is not consistent with Chapter 3 of the Coastal Act. The Commission has not been provided current or adequate information to make a consistency finding. The application to you is not complete. Rejecting the application will provide the applicant an opportunity to return with the additional information you need to make a Consistency Determination.

Master of Arts (Criminal Justice and Criminology) August, 2021, Sam Houston State University, Huntsville, Texas. In the midst of the Great Depression in the 1930s, the government took considerable actions in an attempt to control the questionable and troubling practices of business to help prevent a similar crisis from ever burdening the nation again. What it created was the Securities and Exchange Commission (“SEC”), which today continues to bear primary responsibility for the administration of securities laws and enforcement actions against violators. Moreover, the SEC has increasingly gained enforcement capacities over its lifespan. Today, it can not only impose professional bars on violators, but also force them to forfeit any ill-gotten gains and even pay monetary fines through civil and administrative proceedings. While not conventionally thought of as criminal, these white-collar offenses can have a tremendous and harmful impact on their victims and the larger market.

But the bombing of the federal office building in Oklahoma City in April 1995—and the suspicion that an army veteran of the Persian Gulf War may be the perpetrator of that deadliest act of terrorism on U.S. soil—will erase forever the false notion that this threat comes from beyond our shores. Home-grown terrorists have long scarred America's landscape with guns and bombs. From our biggest metrop- olises to the heartland cities, these true believers have struck. When they surface, their acts give us a glimpse into a shadowy world of fear. Often with political aims, they target their weapons at individuals and institutions they be- lieve are conspiring against the true America and its sacred Constitution.

MUSICAL BORROWING IN HIP-HOP MUSIC: THEORETICAL FRAMEWORKS AND CASE STUDIES Justin A. Williams, BA, MMus Thesis submitted to the University of Nottingham for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy September 2009 0 Musical Borrowing in Hip-hop Music: Theoretical Frameworks and Case Studies Justin A. Williams ABSTRACT ‗Musical Borrowing in Hip-hop‘ begins with a crucial premise: the hip-hop world, as an imagined community, regards unconcealed intertextuality as integral to the production and reception of its artistic culture. In other words, borrowing, in its multidimensional forms and manifestations, is central to the aesthetics of hip-hop. This study of borrowing in hip-hop music, which transcends narrow discourses on ‗sampling‘ (digital sampling), illustrates the variety of ways that one can borrow from a source text or trope, and ways that audiences identify and respond to these practices. Another function of this thesis is to initiate a more nuanced discourse in hip-hop studies, to allow for the number of intertextual avenues travelled within hip-hop recordings, and to present academic frameworks with which to study them. The following five chapters provide case studies that prove that musical borrowing, part and parcel of hip-hop aesthetics, occurs on multiple planes and within myriad dimensions. These case studies include borrowing from the internal past of the genre (Ch. 1), the use of jazz and its reception as an ‗art music‘ within hip-hop (Ch. 2), borrowing and mixing intended for listening spaces such as the automobile (Ch. 3), sampling the voice of rap artists posthumously (Ch. 4), and sampling and borrowing as lineage within the gangsta rap subgenre (Ch.
