This FOAM model explores how the elements chlorine, bromine, and hydroxyl behave in specific atmospheric conditions. In addition, I worked through solutions to try to couple the gaseous model with the existing particle model SOA. This will hopefully lead to a more complete interpretation of how the elements react in the atmosphere. Aerodyne Research references the model I created in an abstract that was presented in the July 2020 Indoor Air Quality Conference. ❖ Undergraduate Research through WISER with Dr. Kenneth Davis on Carbon Flux ➢ Analyzed data obtained from local sensors and validated the Penman-Motif Equation, an equation that describes balance of sensible and latent heat flux. This was related to Dr. Davis’ research on Carbon Flux measured from those same sensors. ❖ Internship with Americorps. Watershed Ambassadors ➢ Worked with my local watershed ambassador to monitor local stream health and inform the public about water pollution. The main task was to use a Rapid Bio Assessment with Benthic Macroinvertebrates to determine how polluted streams in the State of New Jersey were. Environmental and Chemical assessments were also practiced to aid the data collected. ➢ Through this, I conducted my own research project titled “The effects of Agricultural Runoff on Stream Health” ❖ Leonard State Marine Environmental Science Mentorship ➢ Organized a Marine and Environmental Science outreach program for young children. I was mentored in how to teach youth about the environment in fun and interactive ways. Technical Skills ❖ Fluent coding abilities in MATLAB and Python ❖ Proficiency with data analysis in excel ❖ Basic skills in GIS, R, Stella Architect, CAD Educational Awards ❖ Women in Science Scholarship Contact: 732-995-1667 [email protected]

❖ Hosler Meteorology Scholarship ❖ Penn State Dean's list ❖ Chi Epsilon Pi: Penn State Meteorology Honors Society ❖ White-Credit Scientific Publication for correlation between Agricultural Runoff and Stream Health ➢ Published by the New Jersey Academy of Science Extra Curricular Activities ❖ Penn State University Branch of American Meteorological Society ➢ The purpose of The State University Branch of the American Meteorology Society shall be to foster interest in meteorology and to serve as a professional, service, and social organization for Penn State meteorology students. ➢ Presented Local Chapter American Meteorological Society (AMS) Poster at the Centennial Conference ➢ President: Lead the organization in planning events with the , AccuWeather, and Discovery-Space Science Center. In addition, I organized for many speakers and alumni to come in and talk about their jobs or research. Lastly, I organized a trip for members of the Penn State Meteorology Department to attend the American Meteorological Society Conference. ➢ Treasurer: Handled the money and transactions for the organization. ❖ Campus Weather Service ➢ An undergraduate organization that provides students with experience in meteorological forecasting and broadcasting and supplies weather information to clients ➢ Shift leader: Forecasted and wroted weather discussions for the State of Pennsylvania while mentoring underclassmen in forecasting and atmospheric science skills. ❖ Penn State University Storm Chase Team ➢ An undergraduate organization that increases knowledge of severe weather, notifies officials and those in harm's way, and offers immediate relief if necessary. This club also provided me with the opportunity to travel to the midwest at the beginning of summer vacation to track and chase supercells and tornadoes. ❖ THON Rules and Regulations Committee and Hospitality Committee ➢ Volunteers many hours to ensure people’s safety and well being and Penn State’s THON; A community service event that helps raise money for childhood cancer
