But how do we use it practically and productively to revamp our instructional experiences? This hybrid webinar/face-to-face discussion workshop centers on the instructional design foundations of the Framework and how the Instructional Design (ID) process can be em- ployed to bring the Framework into focus in our daily instructional activities. Participants will be given a brief introduction to the ID principles that serve as the foundation for the Framework, and will walk through the process of designing a class session or learning object. Specific topics include: brainstorming big ques- tions, developing a learning outcome and assessments, and identifying content to reuse and develop. Small groups will discuss each topic and will work their ideas into a template which participants can take with them and use for future instructional design sessions.
