With business operations and experience that span over four decades, KACC Construction Sdn Bhd (“KACC”) has successfully built its reputation as a reliable, fully-integrated and significant construction company. Our specialisation is in the construction of large infrastructure works, industrial plants, factories, high rise buildings and more. Since inception, KACC has successfully delivered in excess of RM4 Billion worth of construction projects for both the public and private sectors within Malaysia. Among the long list of projects successfully undertaken by KACC includes completing construction of various landmark structures in Sarawak. These include the Federal Office Complex in Kuching, Universiti Pertanian Malaysia (Bintulu Campus), Kidurong Industrial Estate Infrastructural Works, Bintulu Civic Centre, the Bintulu-Bakun Road, Pemerintahan Timur Army Head Quarters Complex at Kota Samarahan and the Police Marine Base at Muara Tebas, Kuching. KACC was involved in the construction of the Multimedia University (MMU) project in Cyberjaya Selangor. Recent projects include the current longest river crossing balanced-cantilever bridge of its kind in Sarawak - the Batang Sadong Bridge at 1.48km. KACC completed the project ahead of schedule and lower than expected cost. KACC has also made its mark in the oil and gas sector, specifically for civil and structural components at Bintulu Crude Oil Terminal, Bintulu Shell Middle Distillate Synthesis Plant, ASEAN Bintulu Fertilizer project, as well as MLNG- I, MLNG-II and MLNG-III plant and buildings. Today, KACC undertaking construction of the long-awaited Pan Borneo Highway Sarawak, under WPC 11 in Miri. KACC is also constructing the iconic 1.28km cable-stayed Sejingkat Bridge over Sg. Sarawak.

Ir. Safuani Abdul Hamid
Ir. Safuani was appointed to the Board of KACC in February 2021. He is a Malaysian registered professional engineer with more than 30 years’ experience in construction project management and contract administration, with various involvement in public and private projects in Malaysia. Throughout his career, Ir. Safuani has served in the capacities as Design Engineer, Site Engineer, Construction Manager, Project Manager, Senior Project Manager, Project Director and CEO with a number of private-limited construction companies. Ir. Safuani holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from University of Missouri – Kansas City, USA (1988), and an MBA (Project Management) from University of Southern Queensland, Australia (2005). He is registered as a Professional Engineer with the Board of Engineers Malaysia and has been a Corporate Member of the Institution of Engineers Malaysia, since 1996.
Mohamad Nadziff Tan Sri Bustari
Mohd Nadziff was appointed to the Board of KACC in August 2019. He is currently Group Chief Executive Officer of OBYU Holdings Sdn Bhd, a conglomerate involved in power, property, construction and services. Prior to joining OBYU, Mohd Nadziff began his career in project management, property development and construction in Australia and Malaysia. He graduated with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Construction Management & Economics from Curtin University of Technology, Australia.
Siti Yuhaniz Tan Sri Bustari
Siti Yuhaniz was appointed to the Board of KACC in October 2014. She is currently Group Executive Director of OBYU Holdings Sdn Bhd. Prior to joining OBYU, she was attached to the Corporate Finance practice of PricewaterhouseCoopers Advisory Services in Kuala Lumpur where she built her expertise in valuations, market studies, business planning and financial analyses. Siti Yuhaniz holds a Bachelor of Commerce, Majoring in Finance & General Management from the University of Western Australia.

Mohamad Subky was appointed to the Board of KACC in February 2021. He is currently Deputy Group Chief Executive Officer of OBYU Holdings Sdn Bhd, as well as Chief Executive Officer of Petra Resources, a company involved in the oil & gas industry. Mohd Subky sits on the Board of several private companies active in marine assets ownership, oil & gas chartering, property development, power and construction. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Commerce majoring in Asian Studies & Accounting from Curtin University of Technology, Australia, and began his career at Deloitte Consulting Malaysia where he worked at the Technology Integration practice. .

Development & Completion of Pan Borneo Highway in the State of Sarawak Phase 1 (WPC11)
The Proposed Development & Completion of the Pan Borneo Highway in the State of Sarawak is a 4-lane dual carriageway of JKR R5 standard design. The Pan Borneo Highway was officially launched in 2015. KACC & Perbena Emas formed Konsortium KPE Sdn Bhd to take on Works Package Contract 11 from Sg. Tangap to Pujut Link in Miri.
Covering a distance of 79.8 km though hilly terrain and urban areas, construction of the highway includes 4 Interchanges (Beluru, Bekenu, Miri Airport, Pujut Link Road), 1 Rest Service Area at Lambir, 8 Bridges, 64 Bus shelters and 7 Pedestrian Bridges.

As part of Kuala Lumpur’s ‘River of Life’ project, the new wastewater facility will transform the Klang and Gombak rivers into a vibrant livable waterfront with high economic value.
KACC is involved in river development works, specifically installation of 42km of new sewer lines, decommissioning and demolition of older sewage treatment plant, and construction of five (5) pumping stations to support the new centralized sewage treatment plant for the Batu, Jinjang Keping and Kuala Lumpur catchment area.

Proposed Second Kuching – Samarahan Trunk Road (Bridge Over Sg. Sarawak at Sejingkat)
The proposed construction of a new alternative route linking Kuching and Samarahan, including a crossing over Sg. Sarawak at Sejinkat, is to reduce traffic congestion during peak hour along the existing Kuching/Samarahan Expressway.
The total length of the alignment is approximately 1.71km, comprising 1.281km long bridge connecting the existing road at Tg. Bako with Sejingkat, together with construction of two major junctions, one at each end.
Pembinaan Loji Rawatan Kumbahan Serantau Batu Jinjang, Kepong, Kuala Lumpur (CSTP)
The proposed CSTP with inlet works is to cater for an ultimate PE of 1,000,000, and an STP to be designed and constructed for 750,00PE. KACC as the Design & Build contractor.
The new CSTP Batu will cover two current STP land, KLR 301 (15,000PE) at Taman Mastiara and KLR 342 (13,000PE) at Kpg Batu Muda, Kuala Lumpur. The project is estimated to be completed on March 2021.

Water Relocation Works for Pan Borneo Highway State of Sarawak, Phase 1
KACC is undertaking water pipe relocation works as part of the development of Pan Borneo Highway Sarawak for selected Works Packages 8 (Selangau - Balingian), 10 (Bakun – Niah) and 11 (Beluru – Miri).
Construction and Completion of Road from Sibu Jaya to Jalan Kong Yik Khim, Sibu
This new 6.2km road with two RC bridges and other associated works will provide an alternative bypass route from Sibu Jaya to Durin and Sibu town.

Construction & Completion of Concrete Weir with Associate Ancillary Works at Suai Water Treatment Plant Raw Water Intake, Batu Niah, Miri Division.
Located at Sg. Niah near to Suai Water Treatment Plant, construction of the concrete weir involves of piling, site clearing, construction of R.C storage/jetty pond, platform and gate control system.
By constructing a new Mass Concrete Weir, Suai raw water level sufficiency is expected to be resolved.
Proposed Upgrading and Pavement Improvement / Rehabilitation Works along the existing Kpg. Sg. Buloh / Sebuyau Coastal Road – Section 1(Q2017-1) From KM 0+100 to KM 9 +650
KACC is the main contractor for this Coastal Road project at Kampung Sg. Buloh / Sebuyau. Contract period: 15 months. Target completion: 2021
