Pre -Feasibility Report 2.0 Introduction of the Project/ Background Information 2.1 Identification of Project and Project Proponent The present project area is found deposits of Road Metal and Building Stone, over an extent of 1.00Ha., in Sy.No.43 of Ippalavalasa Village, Seethanagaram Mandal, Vizianagaram District, Andhra Pradesh. 2.2 Brief description of nature of the project The Applied area of 1.00 Ha. It is located Govt.Land Sy.No. 43 Ippalavalasa Village, Seethanagaram Mandal, Vizianagaram District, Andhra Pradesh. Open cast method using with small machinery Mining is followed and it has been proposed to produce Road Metal and Building Stone 56,010 M3 of per annum. M/s Sriman Stone Industries, Mg.P: Sri.P. Satyanarayana Raju, the Lessee of the Applied area. He is a businessman dealing in various activities at Vizianagaram District, Andhra Pradesh. ADM&G, Vizianagaram has recommended for grant of Applied area over an extent of 1.00Ha. Sy. No. 43 and requested the application to submit the approved Mining Plan and EC & Pollution for the Mining Lease area. The Mining plan approved from DDM&G, Visakhapatnam an Letter No: 4232/MP-VZM/2018, Dated: 19-12-2018. The Quarry Lease area is below 5 Ha. Which is considered as "B2" category as per DEIAA notification , hence it is come under jurisdiction of District Environment impact Assessment Authority (DEIAA), Vizianagaram District for obtaining the Environment Clearance. 2.3 Need for the project and its importance to the country and or region The Demand for Road Metal & Building Stone Good Growth in Andhra Pradesh and the adjoining. Hence Road Metal & Building Stone Production is rapidly increasing in Andhra Pradesh and surrounding areas. Based on the demand of Miner, the Lessee intends to produces the required quantity of Road Metal & Building Stone for various markets Buildings, Bridges, Monuments and Civil Constructions etc. As Per DEIAA notification 2006 the project falls under Category – "B2" the proponent is submitting the proposal to get clearance for production capacity of Road Metal & Building Stone 2,45,670 M3 from DEAC & DEIAA, Vizianagaram District for the purpose of grant of Environment Clearance of the Quarry Lease area. 2.4 Demand – Supply The Demands and Supply for the Road Metal & Building Stone is growing which makes a lot of scope for Revenue generation. 2.5 Important vs. Indigenous production: N/A 2.6 Domestic / Export markets. Road Metal & Building Stone is a Minor, it is Major contributor in domestic market Buildings, Bridges, Monuments, Civil Constructions etc. 2.7 Employment Generation (Direct and Indirect) due to the project.
