Minutes for the Minint proposals (Minor Minerals! for the82nd Meeting of the SEAC held on 2t.t'.21t6 I Item sEAc appraised the following proied proposals 6ranite .i 5 Nos along with approv€d mining plans, Pre-feasibility reports and supportint documents in detail, These proposals are for seekint Environmental Clearance for mining of minor minerals. The SEAC appraising in detail, the Project proposals furnished by the proponent, took into consideration of the impact on pollution that is in there types of activities and after verification oI the details furnished by the proponent recommended the proposals subject the verification of the following: The distance between the mining area and interstate border,wherever necessary. The distance between the mining area and the boundary of western Ghats, Prohibited area wherever necessary. 3. One month base line data be collected to ensure the pollution within the limits. The following should be incorparated as conditions in EC. 1.Free silica telt should be conducted and reported 2. Air Sampling at intersection point should be conducted and reported 3. Bunds to be provided at the boundary of the project site. Ground water quality monitoring should be conducted once in 3 Months 5. Transportation of the quarried mate.ials shall not cause any hindrance to the Village people/Existing Villate road. Rainwater shall be pumped out Via Settling Tank only . The proiect proponent shall undertake plantation/afforestation work by planting the native species 0rr all side of the lease area Atleast 10 neem trees should be planted around the boundary of the quarry site. . Floor ol excavated pit to be levelled and sides to be sloped with gentle slope an the mine closure phase. 10. Earthen bunds and barbed wire fencint around the pits with green belt all along the boundary shall be developed and maintained. 11. The Proied Proponent shall ensure a minimum of 2,5% of the annual turn over will be utilized for the CSR Activity 12. The Proied Proponent shall provide solar lighting system to the n€arby villages 13. The Proied Proponent shall comply the mining and other relevent rules and regulations where ever applicable. 14. The mined out pits should be backfilled where warranted and area should be suitably lahdscaped to prevent environmental detradation. The mine closure plan as furnished in the proposal shall be strictlv followed with back filling and tree plantation. 15. Safty distance of 50m has to be provided incase ot railwav, reservoier, canal/odai 16. As per MoEF&cC, Gol, office Memorandum dated 30.03.2015, prior clearance from Forestry & wild Life antle includihg clearance obtaininS committee of the National Board for wild life as applicable shall be obtained before starting the quarring operation, if project site is located within 10KM from National park and Sanctuaries. 17. Safety equipments to be provided to allthe employees. 18.The quarrying activity shall be stopped if the entire quantity indicated in the Mining plan is quarried even before the expiry of the lease period and the same shall be monitored by the District Authoritier. 1' The Assistant/Deputy Director, Department of Geology & mining shall ensure that the proponent has engaged the blaster with valid Blasting license/certificate obtained from the competent authority before execution of mining lease. 2. The proponent shall furnish the Baseline data covering the Air, water, Noise and land environment quality for the proposed quarry site before execution of mining lease, The proponent shall erect the pillars in accordance with the Rules for depicting GpS details in the earmarked boundary the quarry site to monitor electronically before execution of mining. The Proponent has to carry out the Resistivity survey through authorized experts/institutes for Ground water table and based on the report, the Assistant/Deputy Director of Department of Geology & mining shall ensure that the depth of mining shall be restricted as per the MMCR, 1959 before execution of the mining lease. 5. The proponent has to provide insurance protection to the workers in the case of existing mining or provide the affidavit in case of fresh lease before execution of mining lease, 6. Permission may be obtained from the competent authority for using heavy earth machineries wherever required.

Savudu/Gravel/SaraUEarth/Brick Earth - 22 Nos.; along with approved mining plans, Pre-featibility reports and other supporting documents in detail. These proposals are for seeking Environmental Clearance for mining o, minor mine.als. The SEAC while appraising in detail, the Project proposals lurnished by the proponent, took into consideration of the impact on pollution that is possible in these types of activities and after verification of the details furnished by the proponent Recommended subied to condition the proposals subied to the verification ofthe following: 1. The distance between the mining area and interstate border,wherever necessary. 2. The distance between the minint area and the boundary of Wertern Ghats, Prohibited area wherever necessary. 3. One month bare line data be collected to ensure the pollt tion within the limits, The followihg should be incorparated as conditions in EC. l.Free silica test should be conducted and reported 2. Air Sampling at intersection point should be conducted and reponed 3. Bunds to be provided at the boundary of the proiect site. 4. Ground water quality monitoring should be conducted once in 3 Months 5. Transportation of the quarried materials shall not cause any hindrance to the Village people/Existing VillaBe road. 5. Rainwater shall be pumped out Via Settlint Tank only 7. The proiect proponent shall undertake plantation/aflorestation work by planting the native species on all side of the lease area 8, Atleait l0 neem trees should be planted around the boundary of the quarry site. 9 Floor of excavated pit to be levelled and sides to be sloped with gentle slope (Except for granite quarries) in the mine closure phase. 10. Earthen bunds and barbed wir€ fencint around the pits with green belt all alon8 the boundary shall be developed and maintained. 11. The Projed Proponent rhallensure a minimum of 2.5% ofthe annualturn over will be utilized for the CSR Activity 12. The Project Proponent shall provide solar lighting system to the nearby villages 13. The Proiect Ptoponent shall comply the mining and other relevent rules and regulations where ever applicable. 14. As per MoEF&CC, Gol, Office Memorandum dated 30.03.2015, prior clearance from Forestry & wild t-ile angle including clearance from obtaining committee of the National Board for Wild lile as applicable shall be obtained before starting the quarring operation, i, the project site is located within 10KM from National Park and Sanctuaries. 15. The following should be incorparated as conditions in EC. 1. The quarrying activity shall be stopped if the entire quantity is quarried even before the expiry of the quarry lease period and the same shall be monitored by the District Authorities. 2. lt is the responsibility of the pro,ect proponent to maintain the village approach road in good condition usable by the public during the implementation of the project. On the completion of the project the village approach road should be in good condition. 3. After restoration of the road, the proponent should submit the detailed report of the road maintanance including cost along with photographs to SEAC within one month of the completion of the p ro.lect. 4.Base line studies to be conducted for the entire area, 5.Replinishment study to be carried out once in three years for the mined out area. 6.Around 2 km radius from the proposed area ground water study to be carried out through reputed research institution before, during and after mining to assess the ground water table.

The Assistant/Deputy Director, Department of Geology & mining shall ensure that the proponent has engaged the blaster with valid Blasting license/certificate obtained from the competent authority belore execution of mining lease. 2. The proponent shall erect the pillars in accordance with the Rules for depicting GPS details in the earmarked boundary of the quarry site to monitor electronically before execution of mining. 4. These proposals are for seeking Environmental Clearance for mining of minor minerals. The SEAC while appraising in detail, the Project proposals furnished by the proponent, took into consideration of the impact on pollution that is possible in these types of activities and after verification of the details furnished bY the proponent Recommended subject to condition the proposals subject to the verification ofthe followinS: 1. The distance between the mining area and interstate border,wherever necessary. 2, The distance between the mining area and the boundary of Western Ghats, Prohibited area wherever necessarY. 3. One month base line data be colleded to ensure the pollution within the limits. The following should be incorparated as conditions in Ec. 1.Free silica test should be cohducted and reported 2. Air Sampling at intersection point should be conducted and reported 3. Bunds to be provided at the boundary of the proied site. 4. Ground water quality monitoring should be conducted once in 3 Months 5. Transportation of the quarried materials shall not cause any hindrance to the Village people/Existing Village road. 6. Rainwater shallbe pumped outVia Settling Tank only the lease area 7. The proiect proponent shall undertake plantation/afforestation work by planting the native species on all side of 8. Atleast 10 oeem trees should be planted around the boundary of the quarry site. 9. Floor of excavated pit to be levelled and sides to be sloped with gentle slope (ExcePt for granite quarries) in the mine closure Phase. and maintained' 10. Earthen bunds and barbed wire fencing around the pits with green belt all along the boundary shall be developed 11. The project proponent shall ensure a minimum of 2.5% of the annual turn over will be utilized for the CSR Adivity 12. The Project P,oponent shall provide solar liShting system to the nearby villages 13. The Proiect Proponent shall comply the mininS and other relevent.ules and regulations where ever applicable.
