You can challenge a friend or just have fun on your own! A ball and a roof. Without a roof you can bounce the ball, use a wall, or a friend High Jump Set-Up: Open space and a stack of soft objects to jump over Directions: Run and jump over a pillow or soft object. If you make it over without touching add another pillow/object. See how high you can go. Pillows or soft objects to jump over Cup Carry Set Up: Place one bucket filled with water at your start and place an empty bucket 15 paces across the yard. At the start have a tray, plastic cups, and ruler. Set a timer for 1:30. Directions: Fill a plastic cup with water from the start bucket and place it on a tray or cookie sheet. Carry the tray with the water filled cup to the empty bucket across the yard trying not to spill any of the water out of the cup. Empty the cup into the bucket and run back to the start to repeat the challenge. The challenge is complete when the time is up. Measure the water collected in the bucket and play again to beat the first measurement. Options: You may attempt to carry multiple cups, change the distance of your carry, or even adjust the time. Plastic Cups, 2 water buckets, tray or cookie sheet, ruler Around The World Set Up/Directions: Designate 3 spots to shoot from around your space/room. Perform one Burpee and shoot the rolled up socks or small ball. Retrieve the socks, perform a Burpee and shoot from a different spot. CANNOT shoot from the same spot twice in a row. Repeat for 1 minute! Small ball or rolled up socks, basket or bucket Strikeout Set Up: Draw or tape a rectangular box. The box should be 2 feet wide by 3 feet long, with a large “X” in it. Directions: Start out with a tennis ball and a wall. Line up 40 feet away from the wall. The object is to pitch the ball into a strike out box. The goal of the game is to get strikes in the box before you get 4 balls. To win you must strike out 3 batters before you walk 4 batters. Tennis ball and wall Paddle Challenge Directions: Balance on one foot. Place Paddle under your leg that is in the air. Strike the sock into the air. Count each time the sock ball strikes your paddle and record your score. Try and beat your score, Mr. Hudec’s score or a family member’s score. Paddle and sock ball. One-Minute Burpee Challenge Directions: You have one minute to do as many Burpees as you can! Set a timer to let you know your minute is up, and have some fun! You do not have to do a Push-Up with your Burpee, but you do need to leave the ground on your jump. Flat surface, a timer, pencil & paper (if you want) Sponge Relay Set Up/ Directions: Place 2 buckets or pitchers 10 ft away from each other. Fill one with water, mark the other with tape. Fill your sponge with water, run and ring it out in the empty bucket. Time yourself to see how long it will take. 2 buckets, 1 sponge, tape 5-10-5 Agility Race Set Up: Set up 2 cones/markers 10 feet apart with a 3rd cone or maker in the center, play on the grass or blacktop. Directions: Start in the center and see how many agility runs you get in 1 minute 5-10-5 shuttle runs can you get. Score 1 point every time you get to the center cone 3 cones or markers/shirts 1 minute stopwatch timer Towel Flip Challenge Directions: Using only your feet, flip the towel flat on its back so it is perfectly straight. Remember: No hands and no touching the ground. ONLY FEET! Flat surface, towel, and a timer (optional challenge) .
