Fy 2016 Proposed Budget and Financial Plan FY 2016 PROPOSED BUDGET AND FINANCIAL PLAN VOLUME 4 Agency Budget Chapters – Part III Human Support Services, Public Works, Financing and Other, and Enterprise and Other Funds Government of the District of Columbia FY 2016 Proposed Budget and Financial Plan Pathways to the Middle Class Volume 4 Agency Budget Chapters - Part III (Human Support Services, Public Works, Financing and Other, and Enterprise Funds) Submitted to the Council of the District of Columbia by Muriel Bowser, Mayor April 2, 2015 The Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada (GFOA) presented a Distinguished Budget Presentation Award to District of Columbia Government, District of Columbia, for its annual budget for the fiscal year beginning October 1, 2014. In order to receive this award, a governmental unit must publish a budget document that meets program criteria as a policy document, as an operations guide, as a financial plan, and as a communications device. This award is the fifteenth in the history of the District of Columbia. This award is valid for a period of one year only. We believe our current budget continues to conform to program requirements, and we are submitting it to GFOA to determine its eligibility for another award. Y también confirmando que son el primer grupo de toda la población en establecer nuevos pequeños negocios. Por ello, y por haberse convertido nuevamente en un tema crucial para la campaña electoral presidencial de 2020, el comité editorial de Washington Hispanic eligió a los inmigrantes como El Personaje del Año, un título que otorgamos con carácter anual. La comunidad inmigrante está consciente que todavía hay mucho por hacer. Saben que ya llega otro momento para demostrar su civismo y su fuerza electoral, como se está viendo en las últimas semanas con crecientes cifras de registración de ciudadanos inmigrantes que quieren ejercer su derecho al voto. Es hora de demostrarlo y de La lucha infatigable de los inmigrantes en Estados Unidos es reconocida por Washington Hispanic que los ha designado repetir el lema que levantó el gran activista César Chávez: El Personaje del Año 2019.

We have submitted our statement of organization and were informed by letter of November 29, 2018 that we must obtain an advisory opinion from the FEC, with response requested from us by January 3, 2019. I am the Chair and Acting Treasurer of and represent the DC Libertarian Party, the DC affiliate of the Libertarian Party. The Libertarian National Committee and its staff can attest that the DC Libertarian Party is the LNC’s sole qualifying organization in the District of Columbia, responsible for the day to day operation of that political party at the state level, and that the state party organization is part of the official structure of the national party. See Advisory Opinion 1975-129 (qualification of the national Libertarian Party as political party). In accordance with federal law and FEC advisory opinions, we have attached the DC Libertarian Party bylaws as Appendix 1. These bylaws fulfill essential element (1) for the DC Libertarian Party to be recognized.
