(e.g. offshore, maritime, aviation, airport, shipyard, petrochemical plant, or any other high-risk workplace) It is also designed for people with job-related duties in emergency preparedness and response. Program Objectives/ Outcomes Upon completion of the course, participants will be able to: r Describe and demonstrate Advanced First Aid skills in wide range of injuries and illnesses. r Demonstrate the ability to use life saving equipments e.g. Airway adjuncts, Oxygen Therapy set, Bag-Valve-Mask, etc. r Acquire special knowledge and skills to deal with any unique hazards, toxic chemicals or other signifcant hazards or conditions in the respective workplace. r Demonstrate a basic understanding of emergency action principles.
