This year, things are just a bit different (the understatement of all time). With the truncated 2020 Belmont Stakes already in the books, Preakness is presented one month – instead of two weeks – after the Kentucky Derby. He’s lost just 1 of 6 starts and his Derby triumph shushed critics who had suggested the colt might be distance- challenged.
