Activity description
The child is required to create 3 drawings either in 3 frames or on 3 pages. The look of the characters in the drawings have to be similar unless is required to be different as part of the storyline.
The child is required to record a video where the child is narrating a story connecting the 3 drawings in a sequence. In the video, the child is required to show the drawing & share the story related to the drawing. Each drawing can be shown only once & the story has to be sequential connecting the drawing. The drawings have to be relevant to the story being narrated.
The child has to speak from memory & is not allowed to read from anywhere or be prompted the story. The entire video has to be recorded at one go & no video editing/merging is allowed.
Once the child is ready, record the video & submit.
Assessment guidelines
The total non-bonus points for this activity is 30. Every submission would be rated as either of below.
M = Master The child can narrate a story connecting 3 self-drawn drawings as instructed in (100%) less than 45 seconds
The child can narrate a story connecting 2 self-drawn drawings as instructed in I = Intermediate less than 30 seconds (80%)
B = Beginner The child can narrate a story about 1 self-drawn drawing as instructed in less
(50%) than 15 seconds
For participating in the event & making an event relevant submission which does A = Aspirant
not meet assessment guidelines for M, I or B. (25%)
NA (Not applicable) No submissions or any submission which is irrelevant for the activity.
50% bonus marks: If the child securing an M can narrate a story connecting 5 self-drawn drawings as instructed in less than 90 seconds

and captions. Strips are written and drawn by a comics artist, known as a cartoonist. As the word "comic" implies, strips are frequently humorous. But because "comic" strips are not always funny, cartoonist Will Eisner has suggested that sequential art would be a better genre-neutral name.

but have become popular as Webcomics as well.
