Liedtke has more than a decade of experience in national and particularly international, multi jurisdiction, trademark, patent, design, unfair competition and copyright litigation. Moreover, Mr. Liedtke has handled myriad product piracy/ anti-counterfeit and parallel import cases (including customs seizures), often as part of coordinating clients’ global brand enforcement efforts and always successfully balancing clients’ enforcement and brand equity interests. Leveraging his litigation skills, he has achieved favorable results in numerous ex parte and inter partes proceedings before the USPTO, its Trademark Trial and Appeal Board, as well as IP offices worldwide. Mr. Liedtke is a member of, and holds leadership positions in, several key industry associations including the International Trademark Association (INTA). Within INTA, he is a member of the anti- counterfeiting committee, previously chaired the Parallel Imports EU Subcommittee, and served on the association’s Europe Council.
