They think it's very funny ● It was titled “Neo Nazi Minuteman hunts Arizona Immigrants” - also swastikas flying ● J. T. Ready is also an evident presence on far right edge of Republican politics and anti- immigration politics in AZ for a long time ● He was speaking at an anti-immigrant rally [on the advertisement and on the podium was a sign with “Where is the fence?”, a common slogan at Republican main stream anti-immigrant rallies] ● Also there is Russell Pearce, applauding the speech. ● J.T and Pearce have been together for years: Pearce baptized Ready into the Mormon church; they are pictured at the baptism together and Ready was given a Certificate of Priesthood Ordination by Pearce, an elder of the church [happened in 2004] ● J.T ran for Mesa City Council, 1 of 4 – came in 2nd, later ran for and got elected as a Republican Party Precinct Committeeman, District 18 – problem is: J. T. Ready is a Nazi and that should not be compatible with main stream party politics. ● Tara comments: Remember when Romney went to AZ and got up with Trump and advertised with a liquor company? He was in a tavern – Mormons don't drink!?! Now we see a connection between the Mormon church and the Nazi party ● After Ready became a Republican committeeman in AZ , AZ Republican Congressman Jeff Flake and John Saddig and Trent Franks ask for Mr Ready to be removed from his post. ● And, after his long relationship with Russell Pierce, Russell too walked away – in July, 2008. ● Russell Pierce had a problem of his own with race issues: 2012, May 4 Friday Night Hard News Call 3 / 12 ● in 2006, he forwarded an e-mail to his followers that included a white nationalist anti -semitic creed, accusing the media of pushing on an unsuspecting public a view of the world in which “every voice proclaims the equality of the races, the inerent nature of the Jewish holocaust tale - the wickedness of attempting to halt the flood of non-white aliens pouring across the borders” ● Pierce sent that out to his supporters in AZ by e-mail. Later he apologized, saying he did not know what that was when he sent it along. ● Yet the other reason , the increasing visibility of J T Reddy as a neo nazi in AZ politics - the other reason it was sort of becoming an increasingly sensitive subject for Russell Pearce, is because Russell, after having this long association with JT Reddy, was . to become the most powerful Republican in the state of AZ.

Authoritarianism, Social Dominance Orientation, and Support for Strict Immigration Policies at Home and Abroad Maureen A. Craig Northwestern University Jennifer A. Richeson Northwestern University Many controversial immigration policies have recently emerged across the United States and abroad. We explore the role of national context in shaping support for such policies. Specifically, we examine whether the extent to which ideological attitudes—Right-Wing Authoritarianism (RWA) and Social Dominance Orienta- tion (SDO)—predict policy support is moderated by the national context of the policy. Across three studies, United States citizens read about a controversial immigration policy affecting either their own country (United States) or a foreign country (Israel or Singapore) and indicated their support for the policy. Results reveal that SDO predicts policy support, regardless of its national context; this effect is mediated by per- ceived competition. Conversely, RWA predicts policy support only if the policy affects domestic immigration; this effect is mediated by perceptions of cultural threat. Consistent with prior research, the present findings highlight the role of perceived cultural threat to one’s ingroup and perceived competition in shaping attitudes toward immigration and shed light on some of the motivations underlying the recent rise in popularity of strict immigration policies. Reprinted from http://www.glbtq.com After serving several terms in the Arizona state legislature, Kyrsten Sinema ran successfully for the United States House of Representatives in 2012, becoming the first openly bisexual person elected to that body. Kyrsten Sinema is a progressive legislator who also has a reputation for reaching across the aisle and engaging in dialogue with people of differing views in order to see that the needs of her constituents are met. After serving several terms in the Arizona state legislature, she ran successfully for the United States House of Representatives in 2012, becoming the first openly bisexual person elected to that body. Sinema is a native Arizonan, born July 12, 1976 in Tucson. Her parents divorced when she was young, however, and, following her mother's remarriage, the new family moved to Florida. There they faced hard times after her stepfather lost his job and the family had to live for a couple of years in an abandoned gas station without electrical service or running water outside the town of Defuniak Springs in the Florida Panhandle. Despite the adverse circumstances, Sinema excelled in high school, graduating as valedictorian of her class at the age of sixteen. She had simultaneously been taking college classes, and so she had enough transfer credits to be able to complete her bachelor's degree in social work at Brigham Young University in just two years. The choice to go to Brigham Young was likely influenced by the fact that, as Sinema told Jessica Coomes of the Arizona Republic, her parents were "very, very, very, very strict Mormons." Sinema would later leave the church, but, she stated to Coomes, "Growing up in that environment helped me learn about personal strength.

Life, which is a God-given gift, continually acts to ful- fill man’s spoken or unspoken desires. Human thoughts and feelings are decrees in themselves and do produce with cer- tainty and justice after their kind—whether joy or sorrow. Although they live in a sea of wisdom, most men create in ignorance; their lives are therefore a mixture of both good and bad, a chaotic outpicturing of the so-called wheel of fortune. Believing honest men and women want to rise above self-imposed bondage and would shed unhappy human quali- ties of thought and feeling—long endured but not cured— I AM offering these decrees to the world, in the sunlight of divine Love and Light. Their constant and faithful use will plant the ever-fertile ground of human consciousness with seeds of grace and sprouts of mercy. These in turn will yield the harvest of a new life, a personal harvest of harmony and abundance, quickly fulfilled at your call through individual growth and the expansion of God’s sacred fire.
